Maricopa Comm College CEP Fall 2017 Uni/Spring 2018 CC Applicants

Sorry if this is a repeat topic, but hoping to "meet" other applicants hoping to start their online university classes in Fall 2017 and CC in-person nursing blocks in Spring 2018.

WOW - that late? That doesn't allow for much time to get prepared to get enrolled and start the online classes, which will be early August (I think)...I was hoping end of June to mid-July to hear something to allow time to get ready!

Me too! Hopefully something will come up soon! I applied to Mesa and I got a paper I had to sign when I turned in my CEP that said I will not hear anything until July31st. Did you also get a paper similar to that?

July 31 is when all decline letters will be sent. I'm sure that people will begin hearing acceptance before this date, but if you haven't heard anything up to July 31, then you most likely did not get accepted.

Oh really! Maybe I was misinformed ! But did you get a paper to take hone aswell? Just wondering if the cc's had different routines

I did, and I also had to sign an "awareness" sheet which had the July 31 date listed. But, rest assured, mid July will be here before we know it!

I just found this thread. I applied to GCC/NAU!

I read a thread from last year's applicants and it looks like they received acceptances on June 28th! This wait is killing me!

Welcome - and good luck! I've heard several different dates now, but June 28th is the best yet!!! That's only a week away :woot:

I think it's possible that each CC has it's own timeline due to the differences in number of seats available and types of courses offered (for example, some are 100% CEP, some are 50/50, and some offer evenings/weekend classes, some only offer traditional etc).

Either way - we should all hear back by the end of July at the absolute latest, otherwise there won't be enough time to get enrolled in the University you plan to study with. That's further away than June 28th, but still not too far away....:inlove:

Hello everyone! I'm glad I'm not the only one constantly checking my email and wondering if and when a notice/letter will come. I applied to PVCC and NAU and I'm keeping fingers crossed! My advisor told me I was very competitive so hopefully that gets me in! It will be nice to have people to chat with and share our anxieties about acceptance!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Hopefully we'll hear back soon! Someone wrote on another post that they heard back from ASU, so i'm assuming emails will be sent out very soon.

Just FYI- I got an email today from ASU accepting me into the CEP portion, as long as I am accepted into the Maricopa Nursing.
