Maricopa CEP Summer 2022

Published

I have been checking these threads for months and haven't seen anyone start one for the Maricopa CEP program to start in Summer in 2022. Applications are going to open up in December and I'm nervous and hoping to get some comfort in talking to others who are going to be applying soon!! So, here is a thread for anyone who's also been searching for one!

@kyr444 I would definitely retake your HESI AND if you have anything lower than an A, I would try to retake a class or two, to help your GPA. I applied to EMCC/ASU and got accepted with 86.79 points. My overall HESI score was a 94% and I had a 4.0 GPA with all prerequisites needed for ASU. Try again next round and don’t give up! You’ve got this!

Thank you so much for the quick reply!

Yeah honestly Im gonna calculate my HESI score (if I at least got a 95% on English) with my class grades and see how many points I’ll get. I really don’t want to retake any classes but I do have mostly B’s! )-:

Hello everyone!

I am planning to apply for the next CEP program application period at MCC, CGCC/ ASU however, I am not sure if my score is competitive enough to get accepted, I have a score of 82.85%. I was considering retaking my HESI exam because I got a low score in the English portion I got 83% but I got 92% in the math portion and I have a 4.0 GPA.

Please let me know if you guys have any thoughts or advice for me. I would highly appreciate it!

Studying and retaking the HESI test is the easiest way to increase your chances of acceptance. I would definitely do it. Good luck!

Thanks for the quick response! I've started studying for it but I have been so stressed out because I have to start all over again but it's all good.
