Maricopa CEP Summer 2022

I have been checking these threads for months and haven't seen anyone start one for the Maricopa CEP program to start in Summer in 2022. Applications are going to open up in December and I'm nervous and hoping to get some comfort in talking to others who are going to be applying soon!! So, here is a thread for anyone who's also been searching for one!

Hi there!  Thank you, Alaina, for starting this thread!  This has been a very interesting process with so many details needing attention.  I am glad to know I haven't been alone in worrying about these details and how sometimes information reads one way in an email and yet another on a website.  It looks like everyone has a fantastic shot at being accepted into their programs of choice so, YAY us!

I will admit that I have already begun checking my email this week.  Isn't that silly? The waiting is a bit of a challenge though, right?

@ZenJen Not silly…I’m doing the same thing!  I have been checking the workflow on my application as well to see if the status has changed.  This is the moment we’ve been working so hard for!  I’ll be sure to post right away on here if/when I get my acceptance email!

I am not sure how I came across it, but if you go to the Maricopa CEP Nursing website and scroll all the way down, you’ll see the “Begin Your Application” button. Click on that and and sign in.  You should see a link that says Form History…click on that. It should show your applications (one for traditional, one for CEP if you are doing that). Look all the way to the right of each application and you’ll see “Audits”. Click on that and it will show you the workflow of your application. I see when mine was submitted, when emails were sent, and when the status of my application was changed. I’m not sure if it will show approved/accepted, but it’s worth a shot to  check!  It seems like any actions that have taken place regarding applications in the past have been updated in this workflow area.

Oh, I am soooo glad to hear that and thank you!  I just took a look at the workflow thing and it looks kind of scary.  I mean I totally get the intrigue in a big way and will certainly go back, however, I can't decipher anything other than "pending".  And my Traditional application says "archived".  Hopefully that is the norm for everyone?

Hi everyone! 
I too am surprised at how “quiet” this potential cohort has been. As many have already mentioned, the other threads are full of applicants. Can’t lie, I’ve been checking my emails too. The “or earlier if possible” had me anxious to check. This is going to be the longest week ever. On previous threads it seems that people started getting their acceptance emails on Tuesday versus Monday but we shall see. Good luck everyone!

@Nicole RM Since Monday is Presidents Day, I think emails will be going out Tuesday. I agree it will be a long week ?

Oh my goodness, "or earlier if possible" is exactly what was in my head!  Okay, well, we've totally got this!  It's almost Wednesday ...... 5 or 6 days or so from now we will start hearing from schools begging us to attend their program because they know we will ALL be excellent,  next level nurses!

@ZenJen  I am really not putting too much weight in looking at that application workflow, but it was interesting to see the process of things on there.  Both of my applications are showing "processed" at the moment.  This week is going to feel like the longest week ever!

Letters are starting to go out this week...I just got my acceptance into EMCC/NAU!  

I had 89.6 points.
