Maricopa CEP (Summer 2019 Start)

Well, we are about a week into the application period for the next CEP placement. Figured now is a good time to start this thread as I'm sure applications will start flooding in after the current semester ends.

Hoping to apply (first time) to NAU/CGCC with right around 82/100 points.

I reached out to a close friend who works at MCC in Nursing Program. She said this:

"3 colleges have not submitted their CEP lists for placement yet which is delaying the notification process!"

So for those who have a score of 78.8 or greater, there is still a chance that you will receive notification next week!! MCC is on spring break this week.

Thank goodness! I haven't received an acceptance or decline email so I was wondering what the delay was. Hopefully this is why. Thanks!

That's awesome!! Which program?

Something came up so I will be applying next round (Fall19 start)! I will be applying to GCC/NAU for 1st choice and PVCC/NAU for 2nd. I will also be retaking the Hesi to get better than an 84. What is the score you applied with?!

Does anyone know if PVCC has accepted all applicants for the CEP program? I talked to GCC and they have already accepted all applicants.

I just received a denial letter. My score was 77.1 I applied to the masters program at GCU and estrella mountain cc...

I got denied. I applied to both SCC and PVCC with ASU. I had 78.97/100

Hey there! Currently in MCC's PM program & ASU (Block 3). Sorry to hear about your denial. If it makes you feel better, a friend and student in my cohort got denied the first time, retook her HESI and improved her scores and got accepted the second time she applied! IDK what your HESI scores were but maybe this might be an option for you? Wishing you well!

Sorry to hear about your denial! Wishing you well and hoping you apply again in May. Is retaking your HESI an option? Maybe you can improve your scores on the HESI (IDK what your scores were) and try again in May. I told the poster below a friend and student in my cohort got denied her first time, retook her HESI and improved her scores and was accepted during her second go-around. Good luck!

Hi! Very cool. I'm considering choosing MCC next round. My HESI scores were 98% in math and 89.33% in English. I think what got me was my GPA of a 3.3... If i don't get in next round, I will retake the two classes that have C's in, and try again! ?
