great scores! Good Luck!

Hi! I’m back with another update. I hope I’m responding correctly- I’m still fairly new to this site ?

I retook the HESI and just submitted my CEP application.

School: MCC AM/ ASU. I put PM down as well, but I’d rather be in AM.

GPA : 4.0

HESI overall Score: 92%

English Score : 90%

Math Score : 98%

Total points: 86.2

Good luck, everyone! ?

School: MCC, GWCC, PC w ASU

GPA: 3.67

HESI: English 88%

Math 92%

Additional Points: 0

Total Points: 81.3

Should I retake the HESI? I’m truly over it.

Your scores are great! This is how I see it: the deadline for CEP apps is June 7th. If you can schedule a HESI exam beforehand, then I say go for it! If your scores are better, then obviously your points will increase. That’s exactly what I did- I retook the HESI this morning and that added 1.7 points to my score. It’s soooo competitive, so if you can get more points, do it! You’ve got this! ?

Hi All,

I'll be applying to GWCC,evenings! I am taking my HESI this week and will calculate my points at that time. I attended the gwcc evening program in 2018, but I had to withdraw block 1 due to a family issues. I am excited to be in a better place and ready to finish what I started!

Best of luck!

I think those HESI scores are great! If you have time, then retake it. I totally understand the pain of retaking the HESI though. But, we don’t know how competitive this CEP intake will be.

There is a FB group called “Maricopa Nursing CEP Intake for 2020-2021.” You can see what scores that were accepted last CEP intake- some were accepted to PC with ~80 points. Trust your gut and best of luck

Hello how does it work with the points reduction after block 1withdraw?

Hi. Thank you. It's my understanding that the point reduction is only for nursing school failure or withdraw failure. I was not failing When I withdrew, so I don't think I will have a deduction. I'll update you if I find out I am misunderstanding the rubric.

I applied on Monday and received an email on Tuesday, congratulating me on submitting my CEP application, and stating that it had been accepted and processed. I bet you’ll get an email today. Congratulations and Good Luck! ?

No confirmation email yet, maybe CGCC is a bit behind on applications.

Has anyone heard back from MCC that their application has been accepted? I emailed mine Saturday afternoon and have not heard back. I’m tempted to email just to check, but I know the advisors are overwhelmed. I’m just stressing due to the due date coming up!
