Hi everyone! So happy to find this forum! Is anyone applying to the MSN CEP program at GCU? I haven't seen anyone....

School: GCU, MCC/Gateway/CGCC

GPA : 4.0 (hopefully) still waiting on BIO 202 and 205 grades

Total points: 79.75 (I THINK) ??

Good luck to everyone applying! I thought I did way better .. I calculated 81.85 points originally and recalculated my GPA!  sooo IDK!! BUT CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR ME I'm on the low side. LOL

I finally submitted my application yesterday, do you guys know if we get a confirmation email like we did the Maricopa pool ? This is my first time applying ?

I applied on Monday and received an email on Tuesday, congratulating me on submitting my CEP application, and stating that it had been accepted and processed. I bet you’ll get an email today. Congratulations and Good Luck! ?

Congrats and good luck. I submitted my application on Monday and received the confirmation email on Wednesday. The email starts of like this...

Congratulations! You have successfully submitted your CEP application. Your application has now been reviewed and processed. Please read through the following information regarding the next steps in the CEP application process.

 

Your application will be reviewed by the university. If you meet their minimum requirements, the university will approve your application. This does not mean you have been accepted into CEP. Applications will be scored using a grading rubric, which will determine placement at the Maricopa Community College.

 

Applications are graded using a 100-point scale.

GPA – 40 points possible (calculated by the university, not Maricopa)

HESI A2 English Composite score – 35 points possible

HESI A2 math score – 15 points possible

Previous degree – 10 points possible (based on highest degree awarded), Associate = 2.5, Bachelors = 5, Masters = 7.5, Doctorate = 10
