Maricopa CEP Spring 2021 (Applicants for May 1st- June 2nd)

Published

Hey everyone! I know we're a few weeks out til applications are accepted, but I figured I'd kick this off sooner than later. Who's applying for the CEP program next month?

They pushed the application dates back due to the COVID 19. Are you guys having any trouble talking to an advisor?

Where are you guys going to apply?

GPA?

HESI scores?

Overall points?

I'm applying to EMCC first choice, GCC second choice, and PCC third choice with ASU.

GPA 3.61

HESI Eng 91.33

HESI Math 98

No prior degree

Overall points 82.77

I took this from a previous thread. This is an example of GWCC evening schedule.

Hi All,

Congratulations on everyone getting accepted! I was just wondering once applied to the CEP how long did you wait ? Does the waitlist still apply ? I want to apply to the Gateway/ GCU RN MSN program.

Thank you!!

Hi! There is no waitlist! There is two application cycles per year, one for a fall start and one for a Spring start. We receive the acceptances on/around a specific date. You should be able to apply this Winter for a fall 2021 start if you have all your prereqs completed.
Check out the district page, they update the information once they have new dates, and you can also see which courses are required for GCU.

Thank you so much!

Has anyone heard from GCU advisor? I was accepted to GWCC evening and GCU. It sounds like they have switched GCU advisors. I’ve reached out, but nothing.

I emailed my GCU advisor when I first got my acceptance letter and she said there was nothing for me to do yet and that she would reach out towards the end of July once she gets the final list of student names

Hi all, just now coming across this board. Is there any groups for the Glendale CC/ASU CEP? I will be in the traditional 1 cohort for 2021

I am doing PVCC/ ASU CEP and my advisor registered me for my classes for fall and I just recieved an email yesterday that I needed to sign up to get my background check done. I am super excited to start!

Hi,

anyone know how many overall points of last CEP cycle are? With my point below, is it too low to get in RN program?
GPA:3.85

HESI: English:86%, Math:98%
No point for previous AA...

overall point: 83.3

I am applying for PC (1st choice), GCC(2nd choice), Gateway (3rd choice) and wait to apply ASU CEP this December.

If you read back through this forum you will be able to see the points people had and what college they were accepted into. I think the lowest score someone posted that was accepted into the Spring 2021 block 1 start was 80 points.
