Hi all ! Does anyone know anything about CGCC and their acceptance application scores? I hear nothing about CGCC on here and just want to know if anyone knows anything.

HI ALL! My name is Destinie! I applied to CGCC, MCC, Phoenix (in that order) with a 3.8 GPA, 84 English Hesi, 92 Math Hesi, and OVERALL APP SCORE: 82! I barely came accross this website and I LOVE IT! The community on here is so informational and supportive. Yall are awesome! I spent all last night reading everything. I am currently getting my associates right now to add more points to my application incase I do not get in the first time. (I accidently calculated my points wrong, I thought it was 80 until I did the math)
I run a nursing instagram @lifeofdestinie if anyone wants to follow my journey of being a cna and applying!

@Des Emily you will get in. If not cgcc MCC. Last round lowest for mcc was 81.33 so you made that cut off. I know it can be higher but the aim is for 82 from what I told.

Plus side if we dont get in this round we get to reapply in the spring and the start dates when you think about it is not too different including ASU classes. We would take asu classes in summer if we get in this round with fall MCC start date. Next round would be ASU in Aug (just 2 months difference plus you get to take the courses in 6months instead of 2) and mcc in Jan. I will be very happy if I get in this round but if not I started looking at bright sides. Hope this helps I'm jumping out my skin too for the wait! Good luck ?

Well then if you feel like you don't have a chance, neither do I. Im a point below you. hahaha. Good luck to the both of us! I hope we both get in! It it makes you feel better you have a better chance of getting in than me.

80.31. I was at 80.46 but ASU counts my 4 credit math class as a 3 credit math class ? so it brought my GPA down from 3.58 to 3.51. I need prayers! ?✨If you guys are higher scores than I am, pray I get in. That will only mean you guys are for sure in to get to me ?

Oh. I’m sorry thats a major disappointment because I’m sure you paid extra for that extra credit. My score is 81.73. My ASU GPA is 3.75.
Maybe contact the ASU advisor and get your official GPA they calculate. That’s what I did beginning of this month. Unfortunately they can not calculate the entire point but they can calculate your GPA.

Yea that’s what I did. I emailed ASU and the calculated my GPA. ? and yes... lost some money on that credit

That’s a bummer for your 4 credit class.... Ive taken many many class that had to value to me and with the fact that I already have an associates so money wasted. So I know the feeling believe me! Well I’ll hope for the both of us we get in. Good luck.

But I think with you have above 81 is very good!!

Yeah stay positive. Hope it good enough...at least the cut line. Why does it seem soooo long! I need to stop clouting the days and just wait PATIENTLY.
