Marian University (MU) CRNA 2024 Start

Published

Just wanted to start a thread for Marian University CRNA program hopefuls to help share information. I applied a few weeks ago and got an email saying the application is with the admissions committee and to expect an email about a potential interview in the next 4 weeks.  Good luck everyone!

Specializes in MICU.

I thought the app deadline was not until Oct 31st... so they are reviewing apps/offering interviews even before then.

I got an email invite as well!

I believe it's the first round of interview invitations. Threads from years past make it look like they've done something similar to rolling admissions.

Did anyone have to take a clinical test?

They will have a written test that has clinical questions as well as dosage calculations on it.  I believe it is questions like those seen with CCRN exams.

Did anyone attend yesterday for the first day of interviews? ?

I interviewed yesterday. They have a parking spot with your name on it which was cool. First 30 minutes were with faculty, mostly emotional intelligence questions with some clinical questions sprinkled in. 2nd 30 minutes were talking to 2 first year students, it was very relaxed. After those you take the clinical test 20 questions in 20 minutes. Mainly ccrn style questions and some dosage calculations. After that they give you a little gift bag and your done. Everyone was very friendly and seemed happy to be there, overall a pretty good experience!

I'm happy to hear it was a positive experience ☺️ thank you for sharing!  I don't interview until the 6th- I'm flying in from Denver.

So glad it was relaxed.  I'm interviewing next week so I'm glad to hear about the first round.  Did they say how many they were interviewing vs accepting by chance?

No problem! Hope you get some time to explore Indy, I think the city is pretty underrated!
