I used it in my review. Just the practice test though. It helped me in answering my exam. But what I recommend is use La Charity's book, answer the questions, read and understand the rationale. I don't have the book but I was able to download practice questions from La charity's. Before my exam, I've been getting 50-60% and sometimes 40% in my practice tests. It's my first time to take nclex last week (march 24) and when i tried PVT been getting the good pop up. And don't forget to pray and ask for HIS guidance.

I bought the 6weeks access. But i just used it like twice a week. :) I answer the practice test, read the rationale and then retake the test. I also used Nclex 4000 in study mode. I started reviewing 1.5 months before my exam. No reading the contents, no pharma, just questions :) and if i don't know the disease, I just google it.

I got that GOOD POP UP!! I hope it's true!!:):)

wow feels good to be back here after 2 1/2 years. Its feels long time. I did study for my nclex using this site,we had a thread called random facts throwing which was very helpful. I studied every day for 3-4 hours and would go through every question that was in that thread.. wow I work in cardiac ICU now. Good luck to everyone here let me know how I can help.

alrighty, i finally took nclex-rn yesterday and today i got my license # for rn! every test is different, but i told you i'd share my experience/advice. i got about 8 or 9 sata, drag and drops, lots of infection control and priority (who would you see 1st), and a couple questions about hepatitis. i didnt find it to be as challenging as kaplan, but a few things i had to remember is that 1. you never see the patient with pain 1st because pain is psychosocial (unless its chest pain) but even still if there is a serious resp problem then the resp would take precedence, 2. rn always does assessment, discharge teaching and always takes care of the patient with a "new" diagnosis of something in case teaching is needed. mostly any "skill" can be delegated to lpn (like wound care, oral meds) but rn always gives iv push meds and takes care of specialty equip like vents and chest tubes. 3. also if you get a question stating that a nurse is on your floor from a different unit, always give them the most stable patient or the patient that has an illness closest to their specialty ie a postpartum nurse would get a patient with a hysterectomy becaue the gu system is their specialty. infection control is important too, ie which diseases are standard, contact, droplet or airborne precautions. all in all i felt like a number of the questions gave you clues as to what the answer is, just dont fall into nclex traps! i wish you the best of luck in the future!
