March 2011 Test Takers Support Group

aint sure if there is already an existing march 2011 test takers' support group. nonetheless, i ought to just create one.. study tips and advices, as well as encouragement, motivation, support, and prayers from each and everyone of us may play a big role in our preparation for this battle. let's all be rn's!! good luck to us!! may the good lord be with us all in our way to passing the nclex!! :cheers:

Thank you so much Drop017 and Ma.Bi...I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I have heard from numerous sources that Kaplan is harder that boards, but these scores are just soooo discouraging. I was strongly encouraged to take Kaplan by my instructor because I was a solid "C" student, so I guess I thought Kaplan would be my savior. Its very comforting to know that others have had similar scores and still passed NCLEX! You have just reaffirmed what I already know: God is able, and if its meant to be, IT WILL BE! Congratulations on passing!!!

i did a question on lacharity book .... a dr ordered all this on a patient with sickle cell crises, which order is the priority? oxygen is their 1st priority but i did another question in one of my kaplan trainer and hydration was the answer... so now which is best????????

for sicke cell crisis the priority is hydration - heat application - o2 - and then pain medication :) i use hhop :) hope it helps :)

I'm a solid C student too. Just believe in yourself and try to be confident. I know it's hard especially if the battle that you'll going to face is unpredictable. I know Kaplan is hard. One of the reason why I got discourage to answer the question trainer. But yeah, they said that NCLEX 4000 is easier compared to kaplan well for me it's just the same. I mostly get 50-60% in my practice exam. I got so discouraged and I felt like I wont be able to pass.

Concentrate/focus on your exam and if you don't understand the question, read it twice, thrice, four times? And remember the answer choices are kinda tricky. Try to use your imagination if you can and that will help you in choosing the right answer.

I did Kaplan too and passed! The question trainers I felt were harder than the test. I learned a lot by reviewing my test results. You learn the reason the answer was correct, and why the other answer were not. Hope this helps.

hello everyone im planning to take my nclex for the 3rd time and im really getting scared . im scared that i might not pass again. cAN you guys give me an advise on what is a good way to really prepare for the exam how to study what books and should i take a review online? i would really appreciate it :-)
