  1. wow feels good to be back here after 2 1/2 years. Its feels long time. I did study for my nclex using this site,we had a thread called random facts throwing which was very helpful. I studied every day for 3-4 hours and would go through every question that was in that thread.. wow I work in cardiac ICU now. Good luck to everyone here let me know how I can help.
  2. I cant believe this thread still exist! I was here when they started this thread back in 2008, I visited this thread everyday and it helped me pass my nclex first time. Wow its whole different story now, looking back its like i never took nclex lol.
  3. Hi my friend Feliz, Have you taken your ncles yet? its been a long time.... having taken nclex in dec seems far . This days I work in ICU...thats an exam i dont wish to take in my life.. Goodluck feliz...
  4. Hello there u are not alone, I passed in dec that was my 3rd attempt. This is your to pass, remember your ABC's yes this really helped me. Good luck you will be a 3rd time champ.
  5. I passed on dec 17 with no SATA and only 1 math cal.
  6. Feliz, I have sent you a private msg. I hope all goes well with you. You are soo smart and am sure You will pass the nlcex. And continue to practice prioritization questions. YOu get that you pass the nlcex!! To all of you who are still waiting to take good luck and I will continue to pray for you guys.
  7. Feliz wanted to say hi. I will be praying for you when you take your exams. I miss this thread. lol
  8. congrats, I passed without SATA too!! .
  9. its devastating to fail nclex. I failed 2 times and i still worked hard everytime. I remember inmy 1&2nd exam i did 265 questions and failed. I suggest there is something you did not get it. take a break and resume studying, study in the areas you are weak at. In my case i was weak at prioritization and infectious control i mastered the content and technique and passed on my third attempt. Never give up on your dream. There is a thread for facts throwing going on has useful contents to help pass nclex. Goodluck
  10. I wanted to tell you guys it will be helpful to post in the ongoing random facts throwing in that way others can read and you can also read their notes. God bless and you will all pass.
  11. Congratulations Katubo and all of us who passed dec 2008. Good luck in your new careers. Those who did not pass hang in there 2009 is your year. You can do it also.
  12. Katubo congratulations, You did it.....:prdnrs:
  13. I passed with no SATA, 1 med, more prioritization and infectious control.....
  14. I have to agree with delitful, I took Kaplan inclass and failed 2 times. The third time i requested online class, the thing i liked most is videos and question review by ladies of kaplan they teach u strategies to answer. I remember 2 days before my exam i did the readiness test got 67% and i reviwed the test listening to the ladies of kaplan on how to tackle the question. This exam tests your critical thinking alot, I also used prioritization book by lacharity. Third time was easy!! i knew all along even if i ended up doing 265 I was sure I will pass but luckily i did not take 265 questions. I will recomend kaplan online..it worked for me
  15. Yes never give up on your dream. I passed nclex on my third attempt just recently dec 17. I failed two times and i took kaplan from my first attempt. I kept doing kaplan question bank and trainer everyday. This time i took kaplan on line which was very helpful. I focused on prioritization, infectious control alot. The key to passing nclex is prioritization, that worked for me well. Also make sure u visit random facts throwing everyday. There are important information in that thread. I know how it feels, that monster nclex was on my mind for 5 months, I couldnt sleep well, eat well. I felt the dream was hard to reach. Never give up, even when u think you cannot do it, pull your self up and get going...that monster nclex has to be defeated!!! Good luck
