Hi Miss JKm,

I confirmed my test date.. its April 1 st as my ATT extends into April.... but since I am on the borderline of March and April I will be part of the March support group..

igiminor- sure i can make a list. i guess i will begin my list when we all have test dates. i would love to have the support like the other threads had.

sounds like you have a good plan using suzannes plan. i am trying to plan a study plan for myself. so far i am doing two things. i am using kaplans qbank and trainer, i review the whole test with rationales when i am finished. i listen to the videos on some topics that i am weak in. i am also doing questions from lippincott text. i am using some of suzannes/kaplan strategy's. if i score less the 65% i use my suanders text to review the content, and then do the saunders quiz that correlates with the quiz.

it sounds like a lot that i am doing, but i was a big slaker in nursing school. my content is not the strong, especially in specialty areas. i am however a good test taker and i have some healthcare experience which helps.

Hi igiminor, yeah for a test date!!!!! I will post mine as soon as I get it. its going to be a while though. You picked a good date I think, you will have plently of time to study. I hope to test a little sooner, but we will see how that goes

i forgot to share my dream.... last night i dreamed that i took and passed the NCLEX. DUring the dream I had 75 questions and found out i passed with quick results. i went to work and wore blue srcubs (RN color at my work) and told everyone that I was a nurse. I woke up this morning exicted but disappointed that I wont be testing soon. I had a similar dream that I was pregnant a few weeks before I got pregnant too. I hope my dreams will continue to come true!

I have a question for you all also, how do you do with SATA questions? I am not doing to well with them at all:uhoh3:

i will dream/pray for all of us to pass with 75 questions......

igiminor- maybe i should invest ina SATA book? i dont know about these type of questions. i guess you really have to know the content.

Hi Miss JKm,

I am doing Suzanne's first tip right now. I have received her mailing for the second tip but its a little early to start that .. I will also do the PDA book... I do use the internet to browse for topics I have difficulty in as my content requires brushing up on as I am returning to nursing after a break...So its basically Saunder's for the content review...I see that you are doing QT from Kaplan... I too took the Kaplan Complete course and did the 1-7 QT's and Q-bank... score b/w 55-70%... was unsure about my content so started with Suzanne's plan....but I do see a lot of recent grad's do well on the NCLEX with Kaplan..if you definitely plan to give the test in March Is it possible for you to make a list like wizard100/iel etc have done for Nov/Dec/Jan groups??..

have you finish the saunders book already?

hi, still waiting for my ATT to arrive and hopefully take the exam this march. please pray for each and everyone of us to pass this exam. thnx!

Hi

I had done a brief review with the second edition of Saunders.... doing a more detailed one right now with the fourth edition and ...no I haven't completed that... maybe a fortnight more...

Hi

I will be taking my exam in March. I received my ATT. I will probably test anywhere in the last two weeks. Best of luck to us March test takers!!!!

I too received my ATT and will be testing in the last two weeks as well. I am using Suzanne's plan. I do have quite a bet of anxiety and frustration though. I have tried several reviews. This will be my fifth time with this Exam. I hope that Suzanne's plan works for me this time. Good luck to you!!!!

Hi guys!

I havent received my ATT yet. I believe I will be taking my NCLEX either at the end of Feb or maybe March, depending on how confident I'm feeling! I have already registered and applied and paid all of my fees so I am just waiting for my school to send my name to the board so i can get my testing date. Right now I'm using the Saunders book and taking the ERI course my school mandates I take. I did very well in all my classes at nursing school but I never score very high on my practices tests! I look forward to chatting with you all and exchanging tips and questions! I hope we can all work together and pass!!

Maury , it all depends what state you are referring to and if you went to school here our out of the country... from what Ive heard out of country can take up to a year and here in the states can take up to a month to as little as a couple of weeks... it all depends on what your story is ...

i will dream/pray for all of us to pass with 75 questions......

I hope and wish that all of you (and me included) pass! Did any of you have to take the standardized CAP exams at the end of each of your courses? If so, how did you do?
