I had 2 references disappear. When I asked for a repeat evail, I suggested to my boss that she photo copy her evail and file it away. THis has come in handy, as it was lost again!. Just a thought.

MOMMY ... how did you do that ??? i went through 3 pages looking for it ... i promise you it wasn't here just a few hours ago. i think MOMMY was hiding it from me, trying to make me think i'm losing my mind !!! :confused:

ok, i'm getting VERY concerned. it's 2 days until the deadline and STILL no reference from my former super (i gave it to her 3 months ago) ... i've called, called, and called and left messages and i don't know what else to do !!! i guess i'm just going to have to see what's going to happen NEXT year (hopefully my reference will be in by then).

ps ... the reason i'm having my FORMER super give my reference is b/c i just recently took a travel nursing assignment (to help pay off some debt and save a few more bucks) and my current super has NO IDEA about my clinical skills. hard but unfortunate lesson learned ... moral of the story, don't EVER change jobs ... especially when you're applying to CRNA school

CRHSrn, I know what you mean. I got a late start on everything as I waited until mid-January to start. However, I just called TWU at noon to see if I had everything in and they stated they were missing my reference from my doctor. Like I said it was my fault but still, it's frustrating. If I have to apply again, I'm going to use certified mail so that I know it is all in. The director, John Martin, said that they were going to process it anyways while they are waiting. I know that some of you have to have your CCRN to interview, but how do you guys let them know you are going to take the CCRN in March and that you want to interview while waiting. The reason I ask is that I will receive my BSN in May and I don't want this fact to be missed. Any advice would be appreciated. By the way, does anyone know how many people have applied and will be interviewed. I'm afraid to ask but it would be cool to know the odds. Anyways, best of luck to everyone.

i'm not 100% sure about these numbers, but i have a buddy in school @ twu now and i think he said LAST year .... 600 apps, 300 interviews, 120 accepted. :eek: like i said, i'm not totally sure so don't hold me to these numbers, but they are close.

i just found out that twu has all my info (including my super's reference i sent 3 months ago). now i guess i'm playing the waiting game. has anyone else heard anything yet? :confused:

I called on Friday and they were still waiting for one reference from my doctor. I talked to the director and he said that he would go ahead and process the application so I'm anxoiusly awaiting to see if I get an interview. It's kind of spooky thinking about all the questions that could be asked in the interview and how I'll do if I get one. Just playing the waiting game like you. Let me know if anyone hears anything.

I just talked to my friend who is currently in TWU and was informed that they will continue to interview till April. So guys, don't lose hope, you'll get the interview anytime soon.

I have 7 days to go before that day. I'll keep you posted.
