MANE Spring 2017

Published

Good afternoon lovely individuals of allnurses. :)

I was wondering if anyone would be applying to the MANE schools for the Spring 2017 start date? If so, lets talk schools, composite scores, and such. I plan on applying to Normandale, Inver Hills, North Hennepin, Century, and Anoka Ramsey. If any students have been accepted in the past to these schools, what was your composite score and do you like the school you are at? Thank you so much in advance. Any advice or feedback would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing back!

Hello there!

I just got accepted to Inver Hills for Fall '16. 4.0 GPA, 84 on TEASV, Composite score of 12.4. I am currently a student at Inver Hills and my experience has always been fantastic. My small advice would be try your best on the TEAS and take it early in case you want to retake it. Also, get your applications done early! I have heard stories about people not getting approval in time on their transfer credits, etc. Good luck to you!

I will be applying for spring 2017 too! Still have to take my teas. Will update!

Awesome! :) What schools will you be applying to?

Hi everyone!

I've been looking out for a post regarding the spring 2017 start! I've applied to North Hennepin with a composite score of 12. Waiting anxiously my letter (even though we're still 2 months out). Good luck to everyone. I look forward to reading more replies to this post!

Hi!! I'm only applying to NHCC. I have a 3.23 nursing pre-req GPA and an 80.7% on the TEAS which puts me at a total composite score of 11.3. I feel my score is a little low but I'm hopeful!! Good luck everyone!!

Hello, I got into Normandale with a 4.0 gpa and 79.3 on my teas for the fall cohort of 2016, but in all honesty I think I was literally the last one to be accepted into the program when letters first went out, of course now more people below me have gotten in through the wait list. I am a terrible standardized test taker so the fact that I got a 79.3 made me so happy! I scored higher than 79.3 on everything, but the english section reallly brought me down. Also on side note Normandale is well respected throughout the community, and has the smallest nursing student cohorts out of all mane schools, so I really believe I will becoming out of school a very well rounded nurse. I strongly recommend Normandale if you get accepted! Anyways, I was also wondering when do you guys expect to get you letters? I am only wondering because my friend applied to century and normandale; and I don't want to keep asking if she got her letter and make her anxious. So if you have any insight on when you expect to get your letters I would love to know!
