MANE spring 2019 applicants

Published

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for MANE applicants to see where you're applying and what your composit score is! I am applying at Normandale, anoka-Ramsey, and north Hennepin. My composit score is 12.7 with a 4.0 gpa and 87.3% on the TEAS.

Awesome! See you at orientation!

Congrats to everyone on their acceptances! FWIW, the same thing happened to me with NHCC. When I received my denial letter on Tuesday, I immediately emailed my advisor, and she reached out to the nursing department. I followed up with them, and was advised that there was a computer glitch, and certain fields (like my GPA) weren't populating. I am so glad that I contacted them! I received my acceptance letter yesterday and will also be going to NHCC.

Do you think they send acceptance letters to people who should've been wait listed or rejected?

I think they had to recalculate everything, but I'm not sure.

I don't think so because you still had to go in and verify the dual enrollment. And they ask for your id and all of that.

I applied at MCTC, IHCC, Normandale, and NHCC. So far I've been accepted to all with an 11.7 (not sure if NHCC used that or something lower). No word from MCTC yet. I'm thinking of accepting at Normandale but need to research which is best and where clinicals are. I did get the initial rejection from NHCC and thought it was weird considering acceptance by Normandale but next day got an email saying the letter was in error. So I had pretty much decided on Normandale because NHCC seems so far away - does anyone have opinions on those (along with IHCC)?

Yeah I really like Normandale but it's too far for me. Both Normandale and nhcc have great pass rates so I guess whichever is closer.

If you figure out where the clinicals for Normandale are, can you share?

Sure. I found some old threads and they seem to be all over the place so I doubt they have one specific site.

I'm in at Century!!! So relieved! Is there a FB page started?

Did you recieve your acceptance into normandale. I got into the reconsider list. And I'm still waiting on them to call me if there is a spot for. I had a composite score of 11.53

I did receive a acceptance from Normandale. But I am not attending so at least 1 spot opened up for there!

Just got my letter today. Waitlisted at Inver. Does anyone know what the chances are of getting in when you're on the waitlist? I'm so anxious.
