MANE spring 2019 applicants

Published

Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for MANE applicants to see where you're applying and what your composit score is! I am applying at Normandale, anoka-Ramsey, and north Hennepin. My composit score is 12.7 with a 4.0 gpa and 87.3% on the TEAS.

See you there!! :)

The third times a charm! After my third time applying I was finally accepted to Century. l will most likely turn it down as I plan to start at Concordia, St.Paul this Fall. Their program is a straight BSN and I will finish faster there. Good luck to everyone, keep your hopes up and fingers crossed. We've all worked really hard already to get to this point. Keep going.

Waiting for NHCC. That's the only school I applied for!

I've gotten acceptances into Century, Inver Hills, and Ridgewater, and will likely choose Ridgewater. I got a denial from NHCC, I had a 11.39 at NHCC. Still waiting to hear from MCTC.

Hi Ait4,

Did you actually get a denial letter from NHCC? Or you were asked if you wanted to be on their waitlist?

Thank you!

Yes, it was a denial and I was not offered a spot on the waitlist. Same thing for someone I know who had a composite of 11.63

I'm sorry to hear that, but it's weird how they don't accept people who have scores that are in the 11 range. :( I personal think scores that are in the 11 range are high enough to get in. It seems like it's harder to get in the program at NHCC.

I was accepted to NHCC.

If I may ask, have you been meeting with an advisor on? Did a class not transfer over?

I did meet with one of their nursing advisers and also talked with the other one over the phone. All of my classes transferred. It's no biggie, Ridgewater was my first choice so it all worked out! :)

Congrats Tasha0070!

May I ask what your composition score was?

I was accepted into NHCC and Normandale. I'll be accepting NHCC. :) I'm SO excited!
