Mane Nursing Fall 2021

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello Everyone!

I just took submitted my Mane application today and was hoping to find some people who have also just recently applied. I am applying to Normandale with a Composite score of 11.8! Looking forward to hearing from you all!

hey all,

I applied to both Century and ARCC. Reading some of these comments, and ones from Spring 2021, I am nervous I won't be accepted in.

I have a 3.29 GPA, and got an 81.3% on my TEAS resulting in a composite score of 11.42. I was told Century's lowest score recently was "around 11.6".

Good luck to all!

@Johnson160  I think that if 11.6 is the lower threshold for century you still have a comfortable hold with ARCC!  It just seems like century is the most competitive from what I’ve been told, so fingers crossed!

Hey future nurses,

I can't believe Monday is already 3/1, we are getting so close to the 3/15 date. I still am not confident I will get in d/t my low composite score (11.42) but I am hoping there is lower interest d/t COVID.

There is not nearly as many responses on this thread as previous cohorts, so I am hoping that is a good sign.

Good luck to you all!

Hey all,

It’s finally March and I’m just hopping on to check in!  Officially two weeks left, and I’m increasingly anxious to hear back.  Basically working every day in an effort to distract myself as much as possible LOL. Hope everyone is hanging in there, we’re so close!

Hi everyone! I had applied to Century College last semester (Spring 2021) as I wasn't eligible at the other MANE schools. I was told my admissions the lowest score was 11.6 from the first round. The lowest score accepted was 11.37 off the waiting list.

I applied to all the metro area MANE programs for Fall 2021. I am not happy with my composite score and got desperate. If anyone else with a low score is looking for other options and can either move or you don't mind driving, CLC in Brainerd or RCTC in Rochester are MUCH easier to get into. I am currently in the Nursing program in Brainerd. I am unable to move, so I drive 2 hours for class. I can't say enough good things about the program. However, the drive is exhausting. If I can get into a program near the cities, I will be starting over. Please feel free to ask any questions!

Good luck everyone!

Hey there!

Would you want to share your score? It sounds like interest has been lower this year, so I would imagine (and I am hoping! since my score is 11.42) the acceptance, and waiting list will be even lower this year.

Century's nursing website says admissions will be sent out via email on Monday, I will update once I know more.

Good luck to you!

Hi Johnson160,

My GPA is a 4.0 and TEAS was 70.07%... I took the TEAS while taking BIO & CHEM, science was my anchor on the test.  At the time I had not taken A&P. I wish I would have retaken before this application round.

I think at 11.42, you will for sure get in somewhere! I heard NHCC is the only one that sends out letters via mail vs email.

Hi all,

I was accepted at NHCC with a composite score of 11.87. Good luck to everyone else still waiting!

@chaelj Congratulations!  That’s crazy that you heard already - did they email you or send a physical letter?

Hey you guys, I’ve received my letter via email.. I’m waitlisted at spot #2 for Inver. I hope I getting in and also for you all!

Hey!

I also got my email this morning, and I was accepted into Inver Hills with an 11.85 composite score!  I’m looking forward to meeting some of you this fall, and I’ll be keeping an eye on this & am rooting for everyone!
@kay3197 - I’d bet with a waiting list spot of #2 you have a pretty sure shot of getting in with how many people apply to multiple schools & end up declining!  Hopefully I’ll get to meet you this fall ?

Hi everyone!

I have only received emails from NHCC (denial) and ARCC. I am wait listed at ARCC. The email didn't let me know what number I am. Has anyone heard from Normandale or Century?
