Male Uniform in nursing

I went to 2 or 3 scrub places... last week. My biggest problem is I take about a 2x but I'm tall.... 63' and am having trouble finding scrubs that fit my height also I've noticed that not all 2x are created equally... I've found out that dickies run small... anyone else have info for other brands... I'm also worried if I order online and they don't fit i'll be in trouble

There are variations in sizing among the different brands -- you can go to a local uniform shop and try on the different brands -- any color -- just to get an idea of which size you wear in the different brands (and see how you like the fabric weight, workmanship, etc., in "real life"), and then use that info (take notes! :)) to order confidently on-line. It's a little extra effort, but it's worth it to know what you're getting when you order on-line. There are a few companies that offer extra-long inseams (don't recall any names offhand, sorry -- I've worked in street clothes most of my career, so I've rarely had to deal with uniforms), but v. few that offer tall/long tops (I'm a tall woman and I never understand why manufacturers don't realize that, if you need one, you also need the other -- it's not like we just have freakishly long legs but the rest of us is the same as everyone else ...)
