Hey! I am a sophomore in high school and I would love to do nursing when I grow up, I have always had the tendency to help people, anyways, I have a 3.8 GPA and I passed my biology last year, and I am currently taking chemistry, I want to know what colleges you all recommend, that their nursing programs are easy to get into, and can you all list the GPA that is required? I would highly appreciate it. I cant wait to do nursing! and Lastly, are male nurses looked at as wierdos since they only makeup ten percent. And is it easy to get into the nursing program at University Of Georgia?

What do you mean is it "easy" to get in? Are you looking for a challenge or something easy? Getting into nursing school is competitive. Is that to much for you? All up to you man. It is hard work from day one. "Easy" is a subjective word that no one can answer. Maybe decide what you are willing to do. Forget "easy" and decide what you want and how hard you are willing to work to get there.

You need to do your own research on colleges. We don't know you and have no idea which school will work for you (distance, cost, etc). Look at each schools accreditation and go to the state's Board of Nursing website and look up the school's NCLEX pass rates. That will indicate how well the school prepares the grad for boards. You can pay a lot of money for a private school that is easy to get into and graduate, but if only 30% of their grads pass NCLEX then you wasted your money.
Men in nursing school are treated the same as our female classmates.
and YES we are weirdos, not because we are males in nursing school, but because we are men :)
Ill take that in mind!
