What the hell are you trying to say?

Yeah, speaking in complete, easily comprehensible sentences usually is appreciated here. Try again.

In my years as a nurse, I've become an expert at certain things. I thought one of these things was decoding overly abbreviated charting entries. Congrats HOP, you've stumped me!

Let me try to answer!

I think that today I'm kinda tired, I think I may be coming down with something.

I like male nurses, sure. I like female nurses too. I also like residents.

No I haven't had an affair with a male nurse.

Male nurses don't persuade me to do anything.

I do have an experience:

We hired ONE male nurse on our OB unit. He actually was quite good. Loved OB, wanted to be a midwife. During orientation, one of our patients he noted that he used to date a long time ago. She was the only labor at the time, so his preceptor went in ahead of him and asked if she was ok with him taking care of her. She said sure. When it came time for the lady partsl exam, this male nurse again asked if she was comfortable with him peforming the exam, and she replied, in front of her husband, "sure, it's not like you haven't had your hand up there before."

I thought that was totally inappropriate! Anyway, this male nurse didn't pass boards twice and eventually left and is now and electrician. He stated he makes more money doing that anyhow.

So..that's my experience. I also have a few male nurse friends in ICU who say that thier unit is on the top floor because they are closer to God...they also argue that labor and delivery is not real nursing..but hey, whatever makes them feel better.
