Malcolm X Nursing Spring 2021

Published

Hey there! Is anyone here applying for Malcolm X ADN (nursing) program for Spring 2021? I am a bit nervous. My GPA is 3.0 and I am taking the TEAS soon and hopefully scoring >90 overall. How likely is it to get admitted? Has anyone been admitted with lower stats before? Thanks!

My advisor says we will most likely hear back in a month. It was last week when he told me this. Gahhh such a long wait!

That makes sense, they cant accept anyone with out knowing their final grades. There is still two weeks left in this semester.

Yeah. It is what it is I suppose. The major challenge with the wait is that it doesn't allow meeting application deadlines at other schools (for this Spring semester) if not accepted at Malcolm.

Hey guys! Hope you all had a good holiday. Have any of you heard anything? Any changes in your CCC account?

Nope, nothing...

Nope. I did attend an info session for Ambria School of Nursing in case I have to take another route (I sincerely hope not). It was interesting.

None. At least I feel like they are going to send out letters at the same time this year. Last year they sent it out one by one...

I also attended Ambria webinar. It sounds good but pricey. And I don't have psych, so...

I just finished with Rassumen College way more expensive than Ambria but you can finish everything within 21 months without pre-reqs. If transferring college credit less time.

About how much?

It's $30,000, basically, for the ADN RN but then cheaper to do their RN to BSN than other schools.
