Hey there! Is anyone here applying for Malcolm X ADN (nursing) program for Spring 2021? I am a bit nervous. My GPA is 3.0 and I am taking the TEAS soon and hopefully scoring >90 overall. How likely is it to get admitted? Has anyone been admitted with lower stats before? Thanks!

Anybody with anxiety ?.
My application says in progress.
Someone in the nursing program told m that if it says in progress it means that you are still finishing pre-reqs for the program. Does that make sense for your situation? Mine only says applied but I think it’s cause I finished my prereqs

Really? Hmm. I thought it was the other way around. I am finished with all my prereqs and all the requirements and mine says, "In Progress".

Mine says in progress but my prerequisites are all done as of two semesters ago.
mine switched from “applied” to “in progress” after I had emailed them to confirm they received the ATI TEAS results (I had a name change and wanted to make sure my stuff all got applied to me). They responded back and said my items were updated, and that’s when the status changed.
My take on it is that they are swamped and that what our portal says doesn't necessarily mean much. They're getting to applicants, one by one, and know people have the stuff in and may have stopped totally updating the portal by hand and may never do so. Who knows. It was one person doing it for maybe close to 700 hundred or more applicants.
