Hey Everyone,
Long time lurker here!
I made a promise to myself. The only way that I will ever make an Allnurses account, is when I apply to nursing school. Well, that time has finally arrived, and I just finished submitting my application to the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing. I clicked on that submit button like a boss!
Good luck to everyone who applied.
So did anyone get accepted or denied yet?? This wait is really making me nervous...
I wonder the same thing. I was at Malcolm X today and they were having orientation for the LPN bridge program already! I called to see when will we hear something and the receptionist told me early or middle July. The wait is killing me.

I dislike when people get bad information because sometimes it can be a waste of time. I'm not saying you won't get in, but what if you get wait listed or seats get filled and you get accepted into 2017's starting class (if they even do that). You basically wasted your time and money to get these things done and wont get compensated. It's happened to me before (bad information, time/money wasted) & it was upsetting I had to do things over. Which is why now I ask my peers & multiple advisors and/or speak to the coordinator of the program.
In a related question, I took my BNA class in the fall & we had to do a physical/finger prints/shot records. Could I still use that for this degree? It would save me from taking a day off work!
Yes the anticipation is real! I went on the CCC website too, to see what times the classes & labs are offered. Mainly Mondays & Wednesdays for lextures, labs Tuesdays, Thursdays & some Fridays & Saturdays. Just to get an idea when the time comes. If its 200+ seats, we all should be able get in í ½í¹í ¼í¿¾
