Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker here!

I made a promise to myself. The only way that I will ever make an Allnurses account, is when I apply to nursing school. Well, that time has finally arrived, and I just finished submitting my application to the City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing. I clicked on that submit button like a boss!

Just called working class and they said "you are counting weekends in your days"... regardless, 10-14 business days from ordering and my uniform should be arriving by the wend of the week. I don't get it. And of all scrub uniforms stores why did we have to go there? Instead of my favorite Chicago Scrubs right down the street from the school...

Did anyone else just expect to go there and pick up the uniforms and patches? I had no idea we had to order so far ahead of time?

Did anyone buy the 4 required books from the school's bookstore or went online?

By any chance did anyone order their drug test through castle branch and if so when did you receive your results

I did it via castle branch it was very easy and quick and I got my results within the week. They print you off a confirmation page

I got mine the same day I went to buy them about 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Any PN students here? We're any of you able to register for 151? Keep getting error messages and I know I'm not the only one but Magaly is not responding back most likely I have to go register in person tomorrow. This program is sooo unorganized í ½í¸«í ½í¸«

I went August 8 and have not received my results. Were they posted on castle branch. I was thinking of going tomorrow to ask for a copy of my results.

@yini711 I am a PN student. Unfortunately I had the same issue trying to register for 151. Was unable and had to go to the school and had an advisor help register me for the course.

For anyone who ordered background or drug test through castel branch, you will have to go to Employment Screening, Background Checks and Drug Testing Services - Welcome to Castle Branch, sign in and print your results from there.

Do we really need to buy the lab coat? Seems useless to me if we have to wear scrubs.

I didn't bother getting a lab coat I just brought the scrubs

Was anyone able to register for additional classes without being charged extra?
