Have you applied? Have you heard anything? Do you have some helpful information to share?
Has anyone who has been accepted get any additional information besides the acceptance email?? McX is driving me nuts. So I called this morning to ask questions about upcoming dates. and turns out they forgot to include a document in my acceptance email that had all the info I needed on it. So she says she will send it to me. So I check my CCC.edu email and IM DENIED ACCESS. Tried to reset password... DENIED. I call the 800# that comes up for help. They tell me i'm being denied access because i haven't been enrolled in any classes in awhile (last class i took was spring 2017) Anyone else having same issue with there email or just me??
~And Yes i DID confirm/accept my seat in the program!
I have a question. Hope someone can help me. To upload my documents do I need to purchase a separate package on castle branch?? I thought I only had to purchase my background. I called castlebranch and told me I have nothing to upload bc I haven't purchased the package to upload my health documents. I'm confused. Hope someone can help me.
Nope, I haven't gotten anything else. You should call the registrar about the access thing. He said he was going to change our programs to nursing after June 6, but mine doesn't show anything yet.
Yea i got back on had to "reapply" to CCC.edu and im back!! :-) I spoke to my advisor and he said The Registrar's office will update our program plan to Nursing, they usually do it in batches once the entire Nursing cohort is admitted.
I got my scrubs, spent about $120 for 3 pairs and a white lab coat (because I hate doing laundry, but you need at least 2). I guess for the ladies, you can choose between two styles from one brand (Cherokee), the classic looking scrubs or a more feminine cut, for pants, either elastic or drawstring (unisex). Then they embroider the patches for you while you wait (about 20 minutes). They also sell a bunch of other equipment: three-hand watches, bandage scissors, pen lights, stethoscopes, etc if you need anything like that. They also sell nurse shoes, which I tried a bunch on and probably will find cheap ones via Amazon!
I didn't like that I had to drive 40 minutes though, but it's over with!!!

It was about $90 for everything: 2 sets of scrubs, the lab coat, and the patches. They also sew them on while you're shopping, so you don't have to come back.
