Malcolm X -City Colleges of Chicago School of Nursing Fall 2023

Published

Hey everyone, just starting a topic for people to discuss City Colleges of Chicago Nursing application process for fall 2023. I've had all my documents marked as complete for weeks now, status on my application just updated to "viable candidate". Anyone else hear anything? They haven't had very many info sessions this semester. Anyone know why?

Thank you for the information that really helps.

Has anyone been accepted into the RN program yet? I received an email from (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) with an invite to "Nursing Transfer Pathway Info Session" -- does anyone know if this means you are accepted or not?

My selective application used to say "viable candidate", but I just checked it a few minutes ago and now it shows this:

Not sure what to think!

Has anyone gotten an acceptance today? It was said we would know by today for those waiting.

I haven't heard anything and am still marked VC

@aharch did you find out anything yet

@EbonylxdrCNA nothing yet, what about you?

@Ash1864 someone in program but it was clearly misinformation?

@aharchSame, still listed as VC

I also got the email. We were supposed to hear back by June 2, but nothing yet.

The nursing admissions committee just sent an email saying that they reviewed my concession letter and if I complete my medical documents and background check that I can be offered a seat. But they have already been completed and shows complete on my portal. I sent an email letting her know and she told me to follow up with the clinical coordinator. So I sent them an email. We may still have a chance because others are still getting offers.
