Making up itals 2

Well, I read ALL that everyone wrote to me. The good and the bad.. I didn't go and say to my boss that I did this and that.. But I know she knows.. I can just tell. I took a certain someone's advice and just taking my time anf doing my best. This person also explained the reason for vitals and etc. Now that I know exactly what they are for, I know I won't just write down a number ever again.. I kept thinking to myself, when I was checking in the patients this morning. Do I want to be the cause of their problems.. I would feel horrible if something bad had happened to any one of the patients.. So THANK YOU all for the advice and opinions. They are being taken into consideration........

I'm not sure what's to 'take into consideration'........Falsifying medical documentation is a CRIME which could, in theory, send you to prison. I'm glad you now know why it's a bad thing to do, but I still don't believe you belong in health care. Please consider another field, where 'fudging' a few numbers and cutting corners aren't as big a deal, like factory work or something that doesn't involve peoples' lives. :stone

Let me just say that everyone makes mistakes.. I made a big one.. I understand that. I AM SORRY....... What else can I do.. YOu can't change the past, but I am changing the future. By not doing it ever again... Give me a break.........

Didn't they explain in medical assistant school what vitals are for? The fact that they're called vitals is pretty indicative of their importance, actually.

You have not gone to your boss??????????????????????/ What you did was wrong and a CRIME. you falsified a medical document. you cannot just go about your business "OH, I have changed la lalalala" you are an adult, go in there and tell your boss what you did. and I am sorry but NOW you understand the importance of vitals. give me a break. did you think they were making you take them just for the fun of it? something for you to do???

How could you not know Vital signs were important? Does the word VITAL not mean anything to you? Heck my 5 year old knows a blood pressure is important! These people come to the doctor's office to have a check up. Of course their vital signs were important! Well......at least your boss is on to you........hopefully!:nono:

How could you be a medical assisstant AND a CNA and NOT know that vital signs are important? I'm sorry, I just can't get over this fact. Did you actually go to school for this stuff or just get a job at this office with no training? Your posts have shown me two things - #1 that you continue to worry more about your own butt than the patients you've "cared" for and made up vitals signs on, and #2 that you really have no clue what you're doing! Sorry to be harsh, but for you to work in the medical profession yet NOT understand that VITALS are important...
