hello!
Can anyone tell me how long does it take to process an application in Makati Medical Center? Because Im planning to submit my resume this month of november...
And are there any special requirements that i need to have before applying?
I need some infos...:typing
Thanks!
Guys, please keep us posted when Makati Med will be accepting applicants again. Its really so hard to find a nursing job nowadays. Even as a volunteer. June is near and another set of nurses will add up to our population. We should act now. Goodluck to us all! Im sure God has a plan for all of us.
Just to satisfy my curiousity, I went there yesterday and the drop box is closed. The guard situated on the 9th floor said that the pending applications are so plenty and bulky, MMC decided to freeze hire and to stop accepting applicants. He went on and said that there's a backer-system in MMC, so the relatives of the physicians or surgeons and Makati Med graduates are prioritized. Which already sounds like a broken record to me. I'm sorry, guys.Let's be realistic for now and plan on what we can achieve, and not dwell on what we cannot have.
Go nurses!
Yes it is partly true that if you have a backer, you can get it easily. And not to mention that they prioritize their own graduates. When all the CV are screened, all their graduates are separated from other schools and the rest is history. So I wont rely on MMC if I were you.
They have pending applicants from the trainees of cetn and not all of them are deployed yet...
hi everyone. :-)
as of may 31, 2009, i was informed by my dear nurse friend that makati med is now accepting applicants for their training program to apply as staff nurse. could this be true? i tried calling several times but to my dismay, no one's picking up the line to accommodate my call. i just wanted to clarify if it were true, but no one seems to be interested in answering the line at the nursing service office of makati medical center. so i really don't know. earlier when i first made the call, the phone rang so long until i heard someone picked up and immediately hang-up. if you have any updates or info regarding this information please do upadate us at this forum.
might as well plan to put up my own hospital for the numerous young and aspiring registered nurse of the philippines... :yeah:hehehe. what can we do to resolve this increasing surplus of registered nurses that only pile up to the unemployment cry of our nation... what can we do!?
god bless the hope of our nation's promising young registered nurses.

If they are not answering your call just go there personally for you to find out..and bring all the required document so that you will be able to submit your application just in case that they are open again......
ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE..
