Hello everyone... I am a New Grad and just recently passed my NCLEX. I am very interested in working at Maimonides Hospital or New York Methodist. I wanted to know if any one have any advice or contacts like nursing managers or recruiters that can help me in getting in...I would greatly appreciate....:heartbeat

I actually just finished orientation at nym. The people here are nice and want to help you. They are hiring rn's now for september so you should apply asap.
Thanxxx. so much:D... But when I called the human resource office they said they were not hiring any new grads or dont have any nursing position available:confused:... Do you have any tips or explain how you applied... Did you go directly to the human resource dept... Do you have any recruiters number...I would love to do med- surge... thanx again...
The nurse recruiter is*********. She's really nice. Hope this helps. Its hard out there it took me a year before I got my current position.Good Luck.
:wink2:Thanx so much New2theGameRN for the info...Are you also a new grad?
Technically yeah cuz this is my first position. I took the NCLEX in Sep 08 and got this job in June 09 so it def took me a while to get an offer. Hopefully it will turn out better for you. If ur interested I saw that kingsbrook jewish med center is hiring new grads for med surg. Good luck - Hope u find something soon.
