Macomb Nursing (MCC) instructor for 1510

U.S.A. Michigan

Hi, I just started the nursing program this week and i have a question about the instructor for 1510. I have try to research on her/him as to what kind of teacher is he/she but with hardly any luck. I wish to ask anyone that has had him/her in the past what kind of teacher is he/she? I see there is only 3 exam and no other points form HW or project etc. The fact that our grade is based on only 3 exams, scares me to death. What if i fail the first exam? I will be probably failing the the entire program. So let me know if you guys had him/her and how should I go forward with the class and the exam? and how should i study for the exam? do his/her notes help? or do i need to read the book? I don't like to read the book and like the notes as they seem to help me, but don't want to wait till the first exam to find out the are not enough.

Thanks in advance.

I sent you a private message :)

Thanks for all the help.

Most of the classes are based on 2-3 test grades. Occasionally, there will be 10 "buffer" points from homework, but not always.

Read the book, you may not need to in order to PASS his/her class, but it will bite you so hard later, and if you don't like to read, good luck :)

I didn't have him/her for 1510, but I just had him/her for Med surg I and I thought was fantastic. Very concise in teaching and pretty straight forward with tests. If you study and show up for lecture, you should have a pretty good idea of which answer to pick. (instructor) knows his/her stuff and is very willing to help you if he/she knows you're trying. I thought he/she was very approachable and got the feeling that he/she takes a lot of pride in students doing well. On a side note, it turns out he/she has a pretty funny sense of humor, watch for it, by the end of eight weeks you'll see it.

Good luck

He/she must have really enjoyed teaching med-surge more than fundamentals.
