Macomb Community College - 2020 Nursing Application Cycle

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hello everyone,

I thought I would open a new template for those who are applying for MCC's Nursing program for the 2020 admissions cycle. This should help anyone with questions or concerns regarding the application process or even HESI related tips. Good luck to all applicants this cycle!?

Cool I've been waiting for a new forum to open up for the 2020 applications. I'm confident but somewhat apprehensive my gpa is a 3.5/hesi 87. But I'm also encouraged that it's the right time for me to apply.

Hi,

Im applying with a 3.85 GPA and ill be taking my Hesi this Thursday.

Im so nervous, but ready.

Hey everybody

Will be taking the HESI this Friday. Confident.

Hope we all make it!

Hi!

I’ll be applying with a 4.0 GPA and a 94% on the HESI.

Good luck, everyone!

I took my HESI! I’m applying with a 84% and 3.85 gpa. I’m so nervous I hope I get accepted.

Im applying with a 3.7 GPA and an 82 HESI. Very nervous but haven't lost hope as I've seen previous years where people got in with less. I know it depends on the applicants but im staying positive!? good luck to everyone and thanks for making this post! I almost started one myself.

Hi!

Just took my hesi on Friday, so glad that is over! I am applying with a 4.0 gpa and a 96.8%.

Wishing everyone luck!

Everybody has an amazing GPA and HESI score. What is everyone doing to keep occupied while we wait these next few months? Is anyone taking an extra class, or studying to prepare for the program?

Took the HESI and scored a 88.8%

(3.925 GPA)

Good luck to all!

That is a great score! Just so everyone knows, the HESI score is rounded up or down. Anything below .5 would be rounded down and anything .5 and above would be rounded up.

You can see what the school has your score listed as for the HESI by signing in at Macomb.edu, then go to the self-service menu>Current and former student>Academic Profile>Assessment and Test Scores.
