2011 Macomb Community College HESI and GPA scores for nursing program

Published

I'm trying to get into the Macomb Community College Nursing program. I just took the HESI test and scored a 86.5%. I Also have a 4.0 GPA. What are my chances into getting into the program for 2011, since my HESI is still kind of low?

If anyone can relate please comment. Post scores so we can compare! Thanks for your thoughts:)

hi everyone! i was on the waitlist and just got my letter stating i'm being offered admission for winter 2012. i'm so excited! the letter doesn't say whether i'll be starting in january or march. I was assuming march just because i was on the waitlist. will i get another letter with more information once i've paid the selective admission fee? does anyone who was on the waitlist remember how long it took to get more specific information?

thanks for any help.

Is anyone that was on the waitlist for 2012 getting moved up and into the program? What was your gpa and hesi if you don't mind sharing? I am applying for this year and am thinking I will be waitlisted. Just curious as to what my chances are thanks

I was just wondering if you don't mind sharing your GPA and Hesi score? And, what number were you on the alternate list? I am going to apply for the 2013 program and am just wondering what my chances are...if you don't mind? Does anyone know what the lower scores were from last year?

my gpa was 3.6 and my hesi was 87.

i don't remember what number is was, but i think there were 10 people ahead of me the first time i checked.

Hi everyone, I know this is kind of off the topic but I am a January start and I was wondering for those who have started or the people who have heard anything...I am buying all my books now so I can get a head start and I was wondering if you guys know if the PDA versions of the med dictionary and drug guide is better (more useful) then the actual books? Thanks!

I use both. The hard copies for actual school work and then the skyscape versions for clinical so I don't have to lug books around.

Ditto on that.. both is best

Thanks! But unfortunately, I can't afford to buy both ...which one do u use most during clinical? And where did u get them? Skyscape? And did u download it on a phone or an ipod?

Skyscape for iPhone. Go see ---- in the practice lab for a discount code.

I'm starting in March. (yeah!) Is anyone else starting in March?

I scored 91% on the Hesi and 3.87 GPA ..and I am dieing to find out if I got in or not I have been watching my mailbox like a hawk!..lol..I got into the RT program but that it def. my second choice!

I dk if this is true for everyone..but I just went on Webadvisor and I clicked on the "My Program Plan", Nursing and RT were both on my list...when they were not before..so I wonder if this means I did get in..any ideas if this theory is true??

Do you know if the RT program is easier to get into than nursing?
