In general "career colleges" cost a huge amount of money!!! I went to Bryman for my medical assisting certificate in 1996 and it cost me nearly $9000. and that was almost 10 years ago! It may take you longer, but attending a community college will get you a better education, and cost less money.
Good Luck

If you attened community college, I believe the course work is more difficult then the private schools...I assume the private schools want you to suceed and take the boards..I attend community college in the Bay Area for LVN and boy is it tuff!

I did attend western career off Watt ave in sacramento. If you think you are ready to give up any hope of having a life other than school - go for it. I went through a single mom with 2 kids, one of which is disabled; and I made it by the skin of my teeth for those reasons! I made it, passed the board, and now getting ready to open a nursing facility because of it. hate to say it but...you can do it!

From October '04 to October '05 I attended a career college's LVN program in the greater Los Angeles area, and the 1-year tuition was $20,000. I financed it entirely with a Sallie Mae student loan.
