Hi Everyone! I'm starting LVN school June 2011 at Kaplan in Vista, CA. I am hoping to connect with some other LVN/LPN students starting this summer! I started nursing school a few years back, but became very ill and had to postpone it. Now I am finally able to return to school and fulfill my dream in nursing. My mother was a nurse, and worked In-Home Hospice for the majority of her career. I grew up around it, and it is what I see myself doing. I would love feedback from anyone who works hospice as well! Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to a challenging year!
Hi Miss Taylor! I know its been some time. That's cool that you knocked out the CPR class already. I'm sure its fairly easy but, are there any things that I should watch out for? Btw, what does 'BLS' stand for?
Well I'm looking forward to meeting ya at Orientation and finally starting our program!

Im glad you got your CPR class out of the way! I havent been doing much, unfortunately! Although, I do have an open house night to speak to current students that are graduating this month. Im excited to pick their brain a little bit! I will be getting my tithers done in the next couple weeks and just go from there. Let me know how your first couple of days go in class!

I am doing days at Kaplan. So it will be Monday thru Friday 8:00 - 5:00. Although, and I would love someone's input on this, I've heard from a few people that lecture never goes past 3:30 or 4:00...I am curious to find out if this is true or not...
