Hello fellow nurses,
I am looking for any information on LVN to RN programs in Southern California. Preferably community college. I took out a loan for my LVN program of $30k. My Financial aide covered $15k which leave me with a loan of only $15k. Not bad seeing that I can pay that off within a matter of 5 to 6 months working full time in California.
I have successfully completed my prerequisites along with the LVN program.
I will be taking the Teas soon with hopes of reviving a high score ✔ï¸
What more do they want from me #Tyresevoice
All input encouraged and welcomed

You'll have to check with specific programs to see what they want from you. It varies ...including the required prerequisites.

I don’t know how much it cost but I know Cypress College has a “carrer mobility” program for LVN to RN. They ask for some prerequisites, prove that you have been working as a lvn for at least 6mths and others..

Have you gone down this road? I'm Curious about the 30 unit option too?

Los Angeles Harbor College has a very good LVN to RN bridge program. 2 semesters, very affordable, great faculty and program.

Is this the 30 unit option? Or the regular bridge program??
