Hi I just read today in BVNPT Website that as of Sep 2017 they have discontinued realeasing pocketcard for its licensee'sv What does this mean exactly?? Cause I recently passed my NCLEX-PN and I already have my license number but still no card. I took that exam Sep 2017 and already paid my initial license fee last Oct 2017. Will I still received my license?? ( to be honest I don't know what it means by pocketcards lol)

It just means you wont get a wallet/purse size id card well any id card to carry stating your a nurse, you can look up a nurses license and status online.

These were my thoughts exactly. I find it a bit concern though since I noticed Florida's MQA licensee lookup has been a little off kilter lately. My licenses seem to go on and off the database for no apparent reason. Not sure if it's because I have two different types or not, but I've seen it happen with my doctor and some coworkers so I don't feel so bad, just hope it works when I need it to for employment.

Texas doesn't issue cards either. I received a letter with my number on it. I am ok with that as most employers will look you up even if you do have a card. It does make it hard to remember the number though. I have held license in 3 states and have had only one card from one of the states.
