LVN Lonestar 2017 Hopeful

Published

Hi, everyone! Haven't seen much of these type of forums around. I have been looking for a thread to see who else is on the same boat as I am. Currently in the process of applying for the LVN program at Kingwood this upcoming Fall. I just finished getting my HEP B Titer done today and awaiting results. If I may add, what is everyone's admission score? I am hoping to get in with a 7.29 :nailbiting:

Hey y'all, I have created a FB group for the Kingwood c/o 2018 LVN!

Hello and congratulations to all who got in the program!! I graduated from the Kingwood LVN program last year and let me just say, you will learn a LOT! The instructors are super nice, cool, and easy to talk to! The program is tough, but take it one day at a time! :) I'm actually going back to school to continue for my RN, and guess what! I got accepted into the Kingwood transition RN program and will be starting in the Fall as well! Hope to see you in the mandatory orientation Aug 25!! Best wishes and congratulations again on your new journey!!

Thank you so much, I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I look forward to see you at the orientation

@Katrina thank you so much!! And congratulations to you :D good luck in your nursing journey!

Hello I am currently applying to the LVN program in Tomball. I have 7.104 total points and I am hoping that this is good enough to get accepted! If you all dont mind me asking, I would love to know what scores you all got accepted with. Hopefully yalls responses give me hope and not more anxiety lol.

Don't feel discouraged; I applied to Tomball with a 6.3! I hope I at least make the alternate list. If not, I'll be retaking classes and the Hesi.

Girl! it was my first time taking the HESI and I just took it this past Friday! So, if I don't get in i'll definitely retake it! But, what exactly is the alternate list? Have you applied before? What is the usual response time on knowing if you get accepted! Hopefully we both get accepted! I am still waiting for my Hipp B to come in so I can submit my application! I am a nervous reck lol!
