Hi, everyone! Haven't seen much of these type of forums around. I have been looking for a thread to see who else is on the same boat as I am. Currently in the process of applying for the LVN program at Kingwood this upcoming Fall. I just finished getting my HEP B Titer done today and awaiting results. If I may add, what is everyone's admission score? I am hoping to get in with a 7.29
Oh I see. That is really cool that you made it for an alternate! Yea I was going to apply for the ADN but I honestly know I wont get in to that one for this upcoming application. So, i'm really just hoping on getting accepted to Tomball's LVN program. It will be a little drive but I am so ready to get into a nursing program. Also, that's not to bad of a wait but I bet it will feel like forever lol! Hopefully my Hip B comes in on time! I just want to submit my application already! For the application process all we have to do is submit it online with all the required documents right?

Yes, just submit everything online and you should be fine.

The alternate list is just like a waiting list; you're basically on standby to see if a spot will open up for you. Some people who apply to the LVN program also apply for the ADN program. If they get accepted to the ADN program, they will give up their LVN spot; then, someone from the alternate list will be called. I was alternate for the Fall semester and never received a call unfortunately. You have a very good chance of being accepted or selected as an alternate and getting a call with your score. Me on the hand will take an act of God! They send notifications out about a month after the deadline.
