I was approved for a LVN license in CA this past december. I sent the payment, check, and the required signed forms via fedex certified mail. It arrived at sacramento December 20th, check still has not been cashed. How Long do you think before check is processed and my license is posted online? I want to look for work already!

Call your state board and ask them. Some states take longer than others, but don't give up.
Good luck to you on your job search!

Hi I am on the same boat. I sent my result with signature on it and a check for 150 by DHL, Dec 21, 2010. Until now my check has not been cash yet, that means they are very slow on processing. Its already January 4,. I also need to find a job until now may name is not on the website since they have not done anything with it. How slow can they be..my goodness!! its already 2011...BVNPT wake up!! everything with you guys has at least one month waiting...I tried to email them but they never respond. I will try to call them later. Hopefully i can get someone there to ask whats going on. They have work after Christmas and its been my second week..goodness!!

I remember mine took at least three weeks.

As a general rule, allow four weeks for processing. Taking into consideration the holidays, I wouldn't get excited until the beginning of February.

OMG state board is so hard to get in contact with, it a joke. Was on hold for 40 min and I decided to hang up. I have e-mailed them with no response.. Thank you
same here...:-( I guessed I just have to check my account every now and then if the 150 was already been cash out, then i know they are processing mine! Oh well!! what can we do..too much waiting game! I'll be back in the US Jan 3rd week, how will i look for a job if i dont have my license on hand..grrrr!!

well that @ least gives a time frame & info for those who have sent off payment for their orginal license AFTER Dec. 20th 2010. That should eliminate some calls to the board.....they thank you too I'm sure their working as fast as they can.
