I'm applying in may for the LVN program I'm taking my last class which is A and P for allied health I have to do the information session and also the teas. I'm so nervous

Thank u so much!!!

You're welcome! Feel free to send me a message if you have anymore questions.

I will!! I appreciate it! Sorry for all the questions! I'm just a nervous wreck! Lol??

How did you do on the TEAS? When I go to the testing enter how will they know I only need to do the math and reading section?

I got 86.7% on the math, and I barely got the required on the reading, 64.3% But they still accepted my scores.

They won't know that you only need math and reading, you will have to do all 4 sections, math, reading, science, and English, since other students are taking the TEAS to get into programs other than LVN, like RN and ADN.

Oh geez I didn't know that

Is the classes and overall program expensive?

Yes, it is. You have to pay a lot of money for the uniforms, ATI books, and medical tests and shots before the program even starts. Since financial aid takes so long to come in, you will need to pay out of pocket/borrow money from friends or family for a lot of things before you even get the financial aid (if you do), since they want you have it before you start the program.

The classes themselves though, I'm not sure how much it was since I had financial aid pay for all of it and I got a refund to pay for the textbooks that I needed.

Do I have the option to be a part time student in the LVN program or do I have to be full time

You have to be full time, although some people do work on the weekends. You don't get to choose your schedule, once you're in the program, you get a special schedule.

Do you do clinicalls while you are taking the regular classes

Yes, in level 1, clinicals are one day a week, on Fridays. So Monday-Thursday are classes, and Friday is your clinical day.
