LVN to BSN National University January 2014

Published

Hello! Has anyone else applied for the LVN to BSN Cohort 6 at NU in San Diego??? I did the essay and Teas today and the waiting game has begun. I would like some company while I anxiously await for "THE" email, so let me know if your out there!! :) :)

Well I'm not getting any younger so I need to make it in! Ha!

So i just emailed my advisor asking when we could expect results since we are past what most of us expected as the notification date. Will share my findings when i have them.

Great! I'm getting a migraine checking my email every 5 minutes. You also can reply to the person who sent you the TEAS date from the school.

I was just notified by my advisor that they are still teas testing this week and we wont be notified until after that. She said she is looking into when we might get the word but really who knows at this point.

Oh my gosh! How many people are applying??? I'm really getting worried. I know people are talking the TEAS still for the next regular BSN cohort, I wondering if she is thinking of that one?

i AM HOPING THAT THEY ARE CONFUSING THE LVN COHORT WITH THE APRIL COHORT SINCE THEY ARE CURRENTLY TESTING FOR THAT RIGHT NOW. ALTHOUGH I WAS SPECIFIC ABOUT WHICH ONE I APPLIED TO.

National needs to cut it out with the messages. I don't care about discounted tickets to a bowl game. I guess not this week.

When I emailed them mid-November to ask how long the results would take, their reply was "early December". Last years LVN-BSN cohort got their letters on Saturday, November 17th. The regular cohort results are averaging about 2.5 months prior to the start date. I know someone that just took the teas on November 19th for the April Cohort, and he was told, they would find out mid-January. We have less applicants, so I not sure what is taking longer for us:dead:

Yeah it makes no sense. My friends who applied for january tested end of august and found out less than two months later.

My advisor said that they just need to grade a few more essays. Hopefully soon!

@SDgirl2013, When did you hear that from your advisor? I only ask because after all the essays are back, they still have to tally and then enter all the results into SOAR which takes several days. We could still be waiting awhile longer.

I would like to hope that the nursing dept has most scores tallied and ready to go, just waiting for the last few to come through. I just still fail to understand how testing is going this late.
