LVN-ADN Alvin Community College /College of the Mainland Summer 2022

Hi everyone, 

I'm starting a thread for those applying for the LVN-ADN programs at Alvin Community College and College of the Mainland starting Summer 2022. 

I don't expect an answer until Mid April or so. 

HESI overall: 90 GPA: 3.1

I'm also applying to San Jacinto South, although this would be my third choice. It is one semester longer, so I'd like to avoid that if at all possible. Scheduled my HESI specialty exam for 3/19/2022, however there's no minimum score at this time.

I only applied to COM wish I would have applied a couple of different places. A lot of people I know that went to COM said it was hard but I think they have a whole new staff of instructors, so it may be different this time. 
Has anyone gotten an email or letter from COM yet about acceptance?

I apply only to COM also! The wait  is stressing me out!!

Check your Webadvisor and see if your status is approved or not accepted!

I was chosen as an alternate but was unsure of how many were going to be accepted. Does anyone know? and how many alternates?

You may get accepted I know of 2 people already who declined their offer. They didn’t tell you what # you were?

They told me that everything is automated and they have no way of knowing where I am at on the list..

I guess if its automated like they say then I guess there is no way of knowing. I really thought I was going to get accepted. Thought maybe there was 30 spots for this program but not sure.

You may still get accepted but you probably won’t know til they hear from all the accepted applicants
