Health insurance should be from your current job that you have or if you are under 26 your parents insurance. If you don't have neither then yes you have to go the expensive route to get it.

You may still get accepted but you probably won’t know til they hear from all the accepted applicants

You may get accepted I know of 2 people already who declined their offer. They didn’t tell you what # you were?

Girl you have plenty of time. COM only wants to pick up who they deem worthy of passing the NCLEX. It’s their loss not ours ☺️. I’ve been an LVN for 6 years and I work on the MedSurg floor at Memorial Hermann so I’m basically doing RN work at LVN pay. I literally am only not allowed to spike a blood bag and can only administer ACLS medication if an RN is not present. Again it’s there lost. My friend got in the transition program at COM maybe about 5 years ago and she said the only people who got in were from COM LVN program and it was only 8 of them so who knows. ??‍♀️

I just looked and mine say not accepted as well. I guess I’ll try someone else. ☺️

May 16th that is definitely more the 1-2 weeks after the application deadline. How will people know if they didn’t go to the meeting? Well hopefully it’s sooner if not then oh well but it doesn’t give you much time to coordinate your life around it.

I only applied to COM wish I would have applied a couple of different places. A lot of people I know that went to COM said it was hard but I think they have a whole new staff of instructors, so it may be different this time. Has anyone gotten an email or letter from COM yet about acceptance?

Eligible but not accepted. I haven't received the letter though.
