I know theres another "Fall 2017" thread for LPCH, but it seemed like it was for the April cohort instead. So heres a new thread for those who applied to the fall Sept 2017 cohort at LPCH!

There was word going around that they wouldn't have a cohort this season due to the new hospital, but I guess they decided to have one anyways. Let's keep each other updated with anything we hear from them (:

@moonbeamlady, I'm not 100% sure but i think it was maternity. Hopefully we'll all hear some good news this week. Best of luck to you all!

I received the email that they were interested in my application on July 31st and I have not heard anything regarding an interview yet. I am assuming that my "interest" was for the L&D department.

Yes same with me, received the interest email on 7/31 and haven't heard anything regarding an interview yet. I'm also assuming the interest was for L&D, as I precepted in that area but my second choice was NICU.

I hope we all find out soon about our status! So anxious, just want to know one way or another.

I heard there are 2 maternity positions. No idea about L&D, though I know they are taking new grads. Im not sure about the other units.

I applied to both L&D and maternity. I received an email on the 31st, but no word yesterday.

Hopefully we'll hear today!

Peds acute/critical here.

No email of anything for me yet. Has peds sent out "interest" emails before this week? Not feeling too confident if they actually did. Also, by the looks of the schedule, it seems like they won't have enough time to do group interviews. L&D folks: did it mention a single-panel interview or a group interview in your emails?

It's only day 2 and it's so nervewracking!

EDIT: I actually know someone in my cohort who received an actual email regarding an interview date for L&D last week. I'm not exactly sure if they're completely sticking to the timeline then...

My email did not specify whether it was group or individual. I still have not received an email regarding an official interview for L&D

I know some people that applied for peds acute/ critical care and they did not receive an email of interest last week but I think someone else on this thread did? So not sure!

UGh, that's so dissapointing to hear that someone received an email for official interview for L&D last week...still no additional email for me. I hope they continue to send them out this week too!! Fingers crossed for us all.
