I know theres another "Fall 2017" thread for LPCH, but it seemed like it was for the April cohort instead. So heres a new thread for those who applied to the fall Sept 2017 cohort at LPCH!

There was word going around that they wouldn't have a cohort this season due to the new hospital, but I guess they decided to have one anyways. Let's keep each other updated with anything we hear from them (:

HR is going to call to discuss the details of the position and emails to follow. I just got the call! D******* said she'll be making all the calls by today. Fingers crosses to everyone! I'm so excited and I can't wait to meet everyone!!! =D

My guess is they're confirming everyone who got verbal offers signs their paper work and then they'll send the rejection emails after... wild guess.

Probably. Unfortunate that it has to be that way. They make the people who sadly didn't get the job wait in painful anticipation while the people who did get to hear back much sooner.

That's what I've been thinking for days too. So discouraging. Just so you all know, no matter what, congrats to those that got selected and to the rest of you/us: I know you're awesome too and we'll eventually land the right gig for each of us. Best wishes to everyone on this crazy new grad journey!

Hey everyone I am new to this site, I interviewed yesterday for the Maternity unit. They have already interviewed 15 people (for 4 positions) and are interviewing more people this upcoming week. I was told HR would be notifying people within one week (Business days). Hope this helps!

Hey @jessica7. Welcome. I didn't know they were still interviewing. After my interview they told me I would be notified within a week also but now it's been 15 days since my interview and we most likely won't hear from anyone until at least Monday.

I was also surprised when they told me they were still interviewing because the program starts at the end of this month. I just wanted to let everyone know who applied to Maternity because I know how terrible the waiting is after an interview. I will let you know if I hear anything else.

I haven't been keeping up with the forum as closely since i didn't get an interview. But has anyone in maternity gotten an offer or been asked for references?

Asking for a friend who interviewed.
