Hello. I am applying for the Versant residency at Lucile Packard children's and wanted to start a thread for everyone. Wondering if they are mainly interested in candidates from the bay area that precepted at their facility?

I have received an offer for the OR. I will get a letter in January. I will probably accept it. Just not looking forward to the commute.

You aren't moving to the area? Where are you commuting from?

I'm commuting from the East Bay, it's like an hour and half without traffic. It's expensive to relocate out there. I have a family of 5 so it's not as simple. I will start out commuting and see how it goes.

Has everyone that got selected been notified? Does anyone know if they are going to notify the candidates they did not select?

I was told all candidates will know either way, but I guess not today. I haven't heard back either
