Hello. I am applying for the Versant residency at Lucile Packard children's and wanted to start a thread for everyone. Wondering if they are mainly interested in candidates from the bay area that precepted at their facility?

Super sucks huh? I assume I haven't been selected, but I want closure! í ½í¸©

Hi everyone!

I received an e-mail today asking me to fill out a questionnaire for a specific unit I interviewed with. Confused, I called HR and they told me that I received this e-mail because I had been selected for the position, but that the e-mail was accidentally sent before I got a verbal offer from the unit manager. She said that some managers haven't gotten around to making their verbal offers yet, but they will be calling soon! Keep your heads up! :)

Congrats, what unit was that for? I know decisions have been made for PICU and CVICU.

It's for peds acute care. I interviewed with a panel of managers from multiple units, and HR told me I had been selected for 3-East, which I believe is the surgical unit.

Congratulations, that is so exciting!! This makes me a little more hopeful knowing that some managers including acute care haven't made their calls yet. I hope to be there with you!
