I've been reading through old threads about Lucile Packard's New Grad RN Nurse Residency program but couldn't find any info or threads about 2015. The application period just closed, who else applied? What unit are you interested in working? Any past cohorts of the LPCH new grad program willing to share their experiences? Anyone have any info about the program that they can share?

I interviewed for acute peds as well: 3 West, 3 East and 3 North. This occurred with two separate interviews.

I interviewed for the OR on Monday. The manager and educator were so nice! :) It would a dream to work at LPCH's OR! I was told we'd hear back sometime next week.

Glad to hear it went great! I also interviewed Monday morning with the OR and agree that the Manager and CNS were very nice! The unit was amazing! Can't wait to hear back! :D

Has anyone gotten calls for 3rd floor offers?

I had my second interview last Friday for the PICN, but I still haven't heard anything. Has anybody heard anything good or bad? I was told I would hear by this past Monday, so I'm pretty stressed out.

The waiting is the hardest part; especially if LPCH is your dream hospital.

Good or bad-- I wonder if they'll let us know either way. For now, I guess as long as you haven't heard anything bad, you're still in the running.

I received an offer on 7/09 for 3S! From what I understood, official emails will be sent out by HR on 7/17. I think some of the managers like to call before then though. Hope this helps, best of luck!!!

I received an offer over the phone from 3 West =]. It is my understanding that official emails/offers will be sent out by HR within the next week or so. Good luck to everyone !!!!
