Hey guys...I started the LSU Fall 2013 Thread and got wait listed ... haven't heard anything back from them except that all their spots are full. So I'm getting ready to apply for their spring semester. For the rest of the folks who got wait listed with me let's get to making things happen for spring! I welcome any advice or pointers. I also went through the whole interview process, if anyone has anything to share or any questions please don't hesitate to post.

I'm scheduled for September 14th in the AM. They did give two options for interview times. When I interviewed for the fall they had interview dates in February and March so for those of you who haven't gotten an email I wouldn't lose hope just yet. Maybe they're doing a second round of emails. Good luck to everyone!
It was ok. They were really friendly.
When you go to the 4th floor you sign in at the table. Then wait until a senior student picks you up and lead you into a office(room). There will be a teacher? They will ask you questions. My questions were:Why nursing?Who is your support system? What do you value most? How do you deal with diversity?
That's all I can recall. You will do fine
My interview was about 15-20 minutes. As usual I started off a bit nervous but as it went on I was fine. They asked
Why nursing?
Why LSU?
What/who is my support system?
Towards the end my professor threw me a curve ball but I think I answered pretty well
What impact do you think Obamacare will have on nursing as a whole?
I asked when we should be hearing back I was told - possibly end of November beginning of December. However it seems like they're only doing the 2 rounds of interviews (the one on the 14th and 28th) so who knows we might hear something a lot sooner. Good luck to those of you who have interviews next week!
